the car is park in the garage, engine shut off


Can't explain it properly but there's a humming noise coming underneath more on the rear.

does anybody experience this it's like it's on timer it comes and goes

Fuel pump?? what position is the key in??

 

no keys no nothing the car was park there for a couple of hours, I'm reading about evaporative emissions equipment don't know anything about this

 

it's a push start button

 

Sorry im not to familiar with the rx, but i see air suspension was an option could that be it.

Approximately five hours after the engine switch has been turned off, the ECM operates the pump module to check for evaporative emission leakage between the fuel tank assembly and the charcoal canister assembly. The ECM can detect leaks by monitoring for changes in the fuel tank pressure. After all this how long was the car parked before you had your humming noise start?

 

yes I was reading about that yesterday, the humming noise starts somewhere around 4-6 hrs after engine shut off, with the garage closed you can clearly hear the noise. I only have the car for a month now so these are all new to me.
