Map Data version on a 2011???

New owner of a 2010 RX350 built in October! I took delivery last week and checked my Nav version and its 9.1.
Are all 2010s equipped with 9.1 or do I have a reason to complain to my dealer?
Are the 2011s being delivered with 10.1?

Your car was built in October2010? You have an 2010 right? then 9.1 is the correct version for your RX. 10.1 is the one for the 2011 you can get the update but it will be hard to get it for free, but what is the worst thing they are going to say NO

built date of OCT 2010 and its modeled 2010? strange ... New 9.1 map were available to general public in December of 2009 but RX350 built date after 092009 came with map 9.1 so I would think RX350 built in OCT2010 would already have 11.1 map.

you must have got one of the last 2010 then. Does you vin number start with a 2? Our 2011 RX 450h was made on 10/13/2010 and we will pick it up on Saturday the 27th.

He may mean Oct '09 if he has a '10 which would be too long for a RX to sit.
He must have an '11..

My '10 had a November 2009 build date. Maybe being a special order and from Japan made a difference.
Now I better check mine because I thought the last update was October 2010.

MY2010 is special due to early release...I think there were minor changes in July '09 too..
So there were MY2010 build between March '09 - July '09 and MY2010 build between Aug '09 to July '10...
Mine was build in July '10, delivered to dealer's lot on Aug '10 and my navigation version is 9.1...

That is the way it works the new version is put out in October and every car is one year behind in version number. My 2010 Camry with nav has version 9.1 and my 2011 RX 450h should have version 10.1 will check on Saturday when I pick it up. RTR
