Default Daylight Savings Time auto didn't adjust

Set to auto daylight savings time but had to manually adjust.
Anyone have this issue?

I think what they mean by "daylight savings" on the Lexus clock is that if you have it "on" you will add an hour. If you switch it "off" you will go back an hour.

So, if it is in the "on" position it doesn't mean it will automatically adjust. It just means that we are in daylight savings time. Much like my alarm clock. I had to switch it "off" too.

It's the same way with the Nav time in my '10 ES. I thought it was automatic too (like my Garmin) but it seems like you have you manaually change it with the time changes. Kind of weird it isn't auto IMO.

Sometimes on trips the estimated arrival time will be an hour off due to time changes unless you manaully adjust the time zone.

Thanks for the replies.
Very confusing.
Auto Daylight Savings should adjust the clock.

Wasn't a big deal for me to adjust it, but I was hoping the vehicle got the time from a satellite or the cellular system so that it wouldn't be necessary.

I was also confused on this as there are two buttons in the menu for the clock, one is the daylight time toggle and the other says auto adjust clock. I assumed the auto adjust button was for DST but now I think its for the time it self because when you un-select auto it gives you the option to manually adjust the time for hours/minutes. I wonder if it auto adjust the time from a radio/satellite feed?

Edit, ohh duh! I bet it uses the GPS feed for the time.

our 330 would change time when you change from one time zone to the next. We are not driving or 330 right now going to try to sell it before our new 450 gets in town. It will be in port on the 15th so we do not have a lot of time to do it in.

Default Clock Adjusted Automatically by GPS?

Has this ever been shown to be the case? I.e., the clock is kept "on time" by the GPS?

Edit: to clarify my question - I don't mean switching to/from Daylight Saving Time specifically; rather, is the clock kept adjusted to the correct minute on a regular basis?

This is why I moved to Phoenix... so I wouldn't have to change my clocks twice each year.

Well I have seen people who have moved for sillier reasons.. okay no I havent. While you wont have to set your clock back and forth you are likely to wear out your air conditioning switch over time.
