"Check AWD System" Warning Message (merged threads)
Hey Guys when I was swapping from summer tire to winter tire, check AWD light with check engine and Traction slippery light came in again. I had the mechanic check and it was P0333 Code. Are the repairs on the knock sensors expensive fix? As mentioned earlier, I used to park in the open area outside my apartment could the mice might have chewed the wire or something.
Have your mechanic do a further inspection for rodent damage and other possible causes of the CEL or do it yourself if qualified. Don't go replacing stuff only based on a code without further diagnosis.
Update: The mechanic did inspection and could not find anything wrong. He also could not get the error message(may be CEL code got erased for some reason). After changing the summer tire(one of the tire was not balanced for some reason as mechanic said needs to be replaced) into winter tire I have not received this error message till now. Connecting the dots, were there a possibility that one unbalanced and worn out summer tire could have caused the CEL + check AWD + slippery light on the car.
Update: The warning light came again with P0333 code which gave message as right knock sensor was wrong. The mechanic did find the right sensor bad, replaced with another one and so far the car is being good, I can feel the car driving a little better after the fix. Hey Thank you all.
Ive seen other similar threads but didn't find the exact symptoms. 2010 rx350. 100k miles.
RX drove normally and parked it at the job. Left it there for 2 days and came back. It was kind of wet and cold in the last few days. The brake pedal is rigid (and so is the steering wheel). When I try to turn on the engine the Start-Stop button turns green while pressing the brake and then turns yellow when pressing it and the dashboard is lit up with Check AWD System and other lights such as the battery light check engine light steering wheel exclamation mark light. The engine is not cranking. The battery is 3 months old. I did try to boost just in case but still no luck. The RX is parked at the job (50 miles away from home...) . Trying to make a plan for basic troubleshooting and bring the necessary tools before having it towed.
Any advice from previous similar issues? My plan is to read obd codes. Check gas cap (should I leave it open like 10 min and re-tight it?) Check fuses. Check batt connections Disconnect for 15 min for a full computer reset and retry. Anything else that I should do (or not)?
Any help appreciated

Try a new battery. Even new batteries can die early, especially in winter. A jump start failure is a good sign it may have defects. Can you take it out and exchange it at a store closer to your car?
Thanks @Clutchless for the quick reply. It's a Costco battery but I believe, even if the new bat is bad, it should have started when I jump-started it. The batt solenoid is not even clicking and the Xmas tree is fully lit up in the instrument panel along the ''check AWD'' message. It's like the start button is inhibited and no power is going to the starter.
I still have my previous costco agm that is getting old but full charged and stored inside. Ive replace it because it was getting old and weak in very cold days (-20C and below) I will bring it along to test it. I can probably simply connect it with cables without having to physically remove the actual one.

If it does not act any different with the Costco AGM connected you need to unhook the cables from the battery in the car and connect your jumper cables to them and then to the Costco AGM. That way you remove the possibly defective battery from the circuit.
Checked all the fuse for continuity under hood and under dash. Checked obd codes but my reader get “error”. Unplugged batt for 20 min. Changed batt. Checked gas cap. Still no luck. Rx is powering on but the starter doesn’t engage… Not even a click. Next step is towing and pro diagnostics. Will let you know the outcome.
Have some one stand behind the RX to observe brake light ... apply brake and if the brake light does not light up -- you will not be able to start. If this is happening investigate why you can not press the brake pedal. Extreme cold?

actually it has been way milder and wet than usual for the last coupke days for this time of the year. When the pedal is depressed the light change from yellow to green in the statt button, however I didnt tough to check the actual brake lights fr proper brake light switch function. The tranny goes in neutral no problem when the power is on. Will check it out. Thanks.

PS: I think a safety interlock is preventing you from starting. Check voltages at the starter solenoid. A mechanic can bridge the relay or bypass the safety to confirm. Again use caution if you intend to tinker as the starter draws 100s of Amp [not lethal but substantial arcing happens]. And when some one bypasses the safety, they need to make sure that no harm can happen.
