That look is nice. Anyone know of a site to get these cheaper than through the dealer?

^ Missed that one

Storm, do you think having the rear illuminated sills is worth it? The door frame is not as big as the 2nd gen. Letters would have to be smaller and consequently would not match the front. Don't know what would drive me crazy more, having only front illuminated sills or mismatched illuminated sills

FYI: 350's are white, 450's are blue.

for esthetic reasons, yes the rear illuminated sills is worth it (if it comes out at all). you are thinking that the illuminated sills will be the same size as the current rear sills. it doesn't have to be, as it could be just big enough to fit the word 'lexus'.

I'm having a change of heart and about to use a couple of hundred Lexus credit card points I've accumulated toward a set if the lighting is white.I've read it's white on the 350 and blue on the 450h.I only want white illumination.
I'm waiting for a reply from Sewell on the color.

I put the illuminated sills on 3 months ago and really compliments the interior when getting in. I love them. Pretty pricey, but what the heck.

Anita, they are blue for the 450h, but someone on this site put them on a 350 and they were white. So I suspect they are the same size plug and sill.

No regrets here,

lar

lar, thanks for the info. They are nice, definitely different than my 330. Those were actually in the door frame with a black plastic piece where the illuminated sills are now.

Question though, are the ones from Sewell white or white/blue? They're only listed under 350 accessories.

Anita, I ordered mine from Carson Toy so not sure what Sewell is quoting you, but I specifically asked for the blue. They have the white lettering with blue leds. The blue doesn't show up much during the daylight, but at night they appear a little 3D in my opinion. Part number(s) for the ones I received is: 67910-48080-A0 RF and 67920-48080-A0 LF.

Hope that helps.

Anita,I emailed Darrel and asked if the 350 and 450h sills have different part numbers. If so,then one is blue and one is white. If not,I don't know.

yeah...they look way better on the old RX than they do on the new ones.

and they were orange im guessing because it matches the door handle light color, which was also a soft orange.

I have them on my 350 and they are more white than they are blue. I don't know the part # as they came with the RX.
