Default tailpipe tip... any options?

Getting into a new RX soon and want to add a subtle chrome tailpipe tip. I like the one from the 2009 RX and wished Lexus included something similar. Does anyone know if the '09 tip fits the '10? Would it be bolted on with a screw? How much has changed with the piping between the two models? TIA

The tailpipe would be my first mod. The oem is just a black pipe. For a 47K car, this is atrociously cheap.

What is the external diameter measurement, outer edge to outer edge, of the OEM pipe on your RX350 (same for 2010 RX 350 and 450h I presume?)

I was planning on a rolled edge, high-polish Borla exhaust tip already.

Were you kinda thinking that this is more "suitable?"

Ahahaha! I don't think that's what I had in mind. I like the stock look and agree it is crazy they dumped the tip. But where there's a will, there's a way. I am thinking the 2009 tip would be best if it fits. Anyone compare the two pipes?

The tailpipe outer diameter for the 450h is 2 9/16" and it is a slightly downward angled pipe painted black. There is no real emergence of the pipe, nor significant lower valence cutout for the tailpipe to emerge on profile from the rear of the car. So it seems that a mod would entail a cut and weld and redirect.

I think with the 450h at least, that the idea was to disguise the tailpipe altogether (an illusion to the concept of reduced emissions on the hybrid?) which Lexus has basically accomplished, and I am now beginning to like that idea, especially since it doesn't have symmetrical twin/bilateral tailpipes anyhow. For some reason I can't get past single asymmetrical pipes, they throw me off.

I didn't get a chance to look at and measure an RX 350.
