Default 2009 or 2010 RX?

This is just my speculation, but would US Lexus brings Toyota Vanguard to be the new 2009/2010 Lexus RX to America?

I was cruising around toyota.jp and found Vanguard, which looked very similar to US Toyota Highlander but looks more sportier. It also offers 7 seater; the interior looks pretty solid too.

What do you think?

Nevermind, this is JDM version of RAV4.... but I'm pretty sure the new RX will be somewhere along this line.

Can't wait to see the next generation RX!

Yep you've answered your own question.

Same here. Can't wait to see what Lexus adds to its junior exec SUV.

Either way, that is nice looking SUV.
Even better if it is hybrid.

This doesn't look upscale enough to be a Lexus RX imho

I guess it's an official that 2009 RX will be the same platform as the current model according to lexus.com

Just a little larger and new interior. Based on the Toyota Highlander.

Huh? I think you are confused. The 2009 RX is identical with the exception of new colors and Pebble Beach edition.

It is almost an absolute certainty that the 2010 will be a complete redesign, but there is nothing but speculation on what it will offer or look like.

Go over to the Toyota site and check out the upgoming vehicles. The 2009 Venza sure lookes like an updated RX to me.

I agree. The current design is 6 years old. If it hadn't sold so well, I'm sure Lexus would've changed the design by now.
