Default December to Remember event

I'm ready to purchase a 2010 RX350 and have negotiated an invoice pricing with the dealer. I'm just curious if anyone thinks (knows) if I can obtain lower pricing if I wait another month until the December to Remember event. I'm not interested in reduced financing as I intend to pay cash. Does anyone know? I'm in Arizona now, but have negotiated the invoice pricing at both a local dealer and Longo Lexus in California. Thanks.

What's the Invoice price now? What kind of model are you looking for?

Thanks.

I was looking at the 450's originally, but keep talking myself out of those. I'm looking at the 350 AWD now. The invoice is right around $42500.

Personally I think the best time to pick up the car is just after Christmas and before the new year. Few reasons,

-sometimes people want to get a new car for christmas
-final push for month and year end sales
-gives the factory time to make more, meeting the new model demand thus having more sit on the lots.

I remember last year BMW had a lot of incentives to move the cars at the end of the year and when the new year arrived the incentives were a lot less. This also happened last year to the clothing industry.

I would think below invoice after X-mas is also quite possible. Don't let the smoke and mirrors of this administration trick you, the economy is not going to roll upright any time soon. I would say wait.

Also, if you're in Arizona, why do you need AWD?

Maybe he wants the tow package - which only is offered with the AWD. In AZ, surely he has a boat.

Personally, I think invoice price for a redesign 1st year Lexus is pretty good already, you can wait until the Dec to remember event and maybe save another couple of hundred dollars, then maybe you wouldnt. The Lexus Dec to remember event is traditionally a event mostly for low leasing rate and low APR. If you are buying and paying cash, I dont think it will benefit you much, but with this recession still going on, who knows what Lexus will offer this year.
