At the age of one month and having accumulated 2000 miles, the air conditioner began to blow hot air. Dealer is replacing the compressor. Any one else have compressor issues?
2010 RX 350 Starfire Pearl
same thing happened to me and the lexus dealer's technician seems not be able to figue out the source of problem. It has been more than a week since I sent my car to the dealer. Also the Fuel Low senser has problem when you fill gas right after the light is on. The light will keep on even you add 4 Gal fuel.
Hard to believe all these occured to a new RX350 2010. Really want to know the root cause of the problem.
While I expected the dealer's technicians to do some troubleshooting, and I really thought they would find a fuze, or compressor clutch, they came back after a few minutes and declared that the compresssor assembly would have to be replaced. A new compressor arrived the next morning and was installed right away.

It be a compressor clutch or something internal, But since it is a brand spankin new RX, they don't wanna make any mistakes and have you visiting them every week.
When the part gets sent back to Lexus PDC, they will inspect it and see what caused it.
Possible future TSB, if they see it more often.
These car dealer mechanics dont do much troubleshooting anymore, especially on a new car. They usually call up the Lexus tech line and go by a troubleshooting guide and replace units instead of small components.
