yes, I also have the 15-speaker ML version and its sounds good to me. Even with MP3s. Obviously the better the source, the better the sound.

Adding the ML system is the only reason I had to special order our RX.

I had an IS without it and a GS with it and you could tell the difference.

No too sure why Lexus does not put the ML system in more of the IS, RX, ES line.

80 2010 RX 350's were in transit to one of our local Houston dealers last month and not ONE had ML in it.

Crazy..

ML should be the standard and they should come up with something higher-end like Jaguar is doing with B&W for their "premium" audio package.

The stock 11 speaker Nav Pioneer is a total piece of garbage.

If the ML in the RX sounds anything like the old version or the ML in the GS. then its not worth buying.

I'm not sure about you guys, but I find the speakers to be beyond horrible. They are extremely muddy and have zero clarity. I just moved from an IS350 with Mark Levinson, so maybe I'm just jaded. However, the plan is to swap all the speakers with aftermarket equivalents to get the sound quality I expect.

defualt setup isn't good. after rebalance front/rear and bass/mid I feel my lexus sounds system is pretty good.

Has anyone with a 450h upgraded their sound system yet? Based on this thread I am considering replacing the speakers and then some. I don't even have the car yet! The speakers are horrible for a "luxury" vehicle. I was hoping I didn't have to go down this road again.

Has anybody compared the ML system with e.g. that of a Jaguar XF's B&W ?

Does the ML include a subwoofer of any kind? TIA

How true I was just trying to see what I might be getting myself into again. I'll start with the speakers. Not sure how much further I'll go.

dont compare them when all stop there since you are not going enjoy music when it sits in your garage. bring a favour CD with you and sound analyzer. compare them when you drive on high way with the same dB output. Quieter car should be the winner. RX 350 provide very high quality high frequency sounds.
low frequency sounds just ok if you set bass to higher

I tried my iPod when I test drove the 450h. Compared to what I have now, I can't say I'm impressed. But I'll definitely work with my installer to see if we can overcome some of the issues.

Do you guys noticed RX sound balance setup is actually miss leading. If you set cross point in front the center sound actually is on the back seat. you have to set cross point on the backseat right side little to make the sound center on driver seat. so more surrounder
