After spending a couple of hundred bucks at the dealer-it is determined that my front woofers and rear speakers are blown in my 2003 LX470 with Levinson. Are there any options to replace these or am I stuck with buying more Levinson speakers, and if so, who has them?

I haven't seen the speakers in a 470 personally. That said, what I am given to understand is like the 450, the speakers are very shallow. One solution is to mount the aftermarket speaker grills above the surface with a ring to make the needed clearance for thicker and more common speakers. The other solution is to replace with thin speakers. Were it mine, I'd pull a speaker and measure it or take it to a local shop to hear their opinions before I ordered something online.

The problem is with the "Ohm" ratings of the Levinson system. Finding standard speakers to match the Levinson speakers resistance is VERY difficult.

the ML woofer is often replaced with a JL Audio 6w0-8. Check out the thread...

BTW...I'm referring to the woofer on the drivers side in the rear cargo area...if you're refering to just the midrange drivers in the doors, I haven't done those.
