Default tinted front windows

hi, just ordered a starfire pearl/parchment, ultra premium pkg, car will be made in Japan. I am debating if I should get my front windows tinted since I think it'd look better with higher contrast. I tried to find one in my dealer's lot but there was none. Has anyone done this yet?
Any pic would help. Thanks in advance.

It seems illegal in most of countries. Well, I cannot judge this.

If you really like to do it, 50% seems good, and don't use the high reflective film.

Thanks, Rxets, it will be installed by my dealer(comply with Ontario's traffic laws), unfortunately, they don't have one that I can take a look at. Anyone? any pics?

for the clarification, it's only for drivers/passenger's side windows, not windshield.

Ha, I should clarify what I said, too. Windshield is definitely no-no in most of areas. Usually the law will allow the non reflective tint on the top few inches. As for the front windows, they're varied, front 85%-15% would be possible.

So, you should be fine. Then, I'd say 35% looks good to me on RX.

My starfire pearl is posted in that link above. See post 10.

I am tinted at 35% in the fronts and the winglets. I have starfire/parchment.

We love it!

That's what I'm talking about. 35% seems pretty good.

(50% is windshield...)

excellet GoCougs, looks like we got the same taste

coming from 07 blk/blk, I immediately fell in love with parchment interior, looked much more luxurious than my 07 blk interior. Exterior wise, my wife insisted in lighter color for a change, Starfire Pearl was probably the only light color I could live with, so here came the combo. I've found white cars with tinted front windows stunning especially when overcast.

Got more pics to share with? Thanks!

Lexus of Richmond Hill, I remembered the lady quoated me around 200 something, I turned it down because she could not give me any example on the lot.

that's close to me. Perhaps we can get a better deal if we both have it done together (if you decide to have it done)?

i'm surprised that it is legal to tint your front passenger windows in ontario? are you guys absolutely sure it is legal? here in bc, cops will not only give you a ticket for tinted front windows, but you will be slapped with a remove/inspection order to make sure you comply.

We're thinking specifically of my story with that comment aren't we

Yea, if you do it and it's not legal you should be prepared to think of it as a temporary mod.
