but i knew that before you told me your story, i got busted many years ago for front tint ('93 Toyota Camry LEV6 Sport).

Yeah it's legal to tint front row windows in Ontario .. I think it's 35%

actually, I've just did some google for Ontario tint laws, it seems there is no specific percentage stated, it is vague, a gray area for the law enforcement to do the judge. um...that's not a good sign

Tinting Problem

We live in Florida, so when we bought our 2003 Rx we had film installed on the front windows to reduce the heat beating in on us. It worked great during the day, but at night it was difficult to see traffic using the side mirrors. So, when we bought our 2005 RX we didn't put the film on. While it didn't look as neat as the 2003, it seemed more practical at night.
