Default Side Mirrors Won't Turn when car is locked

Hey, all,

I have officially owned my '13 Lexus for a month and I am loving it! Definitely happy with the choice so far. I do have a question though because something strange happened today. I was going out to meet a friend for lunch and when I arrived at the restaurant and got out of the car, I pressed the button on the handle to lock it, which it did; however, the side mirrors did not turn inward as they always do. I thought maybe it was a glitch and didn't worry about it. I just came home from lunch, and once again the side mirrors did not turn inward when I locked the car. Has anyone had this issue or can tell me what I can do? Did I accidentally turn that feature off or something? This is the first time that has happened. Thanks!

You likely accidentally pressed the button that enables/disables the power folding mirrors. The button is on the driver's armrest, top right corner atop the mirror control pad. It's got the mirror/arrow symbol.

Enjoy your new RX! I sure am.

Make sure the "AUTO" button has a green light on. Otherwise, it won't fold when you lock the car. Just press the button again to turn it on.

I stand corrected to my prior post. The button I'm referring to is to manually power fold the mirrors.

That did the trick! So glad it was that simple. Thanks for the tip!
