Hello All,
I'm brand new to Lexus. I just bought a used 2008 Lexus RX 400h. So far I love it!
However, I'm bummed that I can't plug in my iPhone to listen to music or podcasts or listen to it over Bluetooth.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

a cheap solution is to buy a "car tape cassette adapter", on ebay for $5. They work great, on par with the radio quality or playing a cassette.. Better than the cheap FM radio units.

 

I installed a GROM USB3 with bluetooth adapter and never looked back. I also removed the cigarette lighter by the shifter and turned it into a USB port as a backup to the bluetooth and for charging. Cheaper than installing an aftermarket radio and kept the factory look and functionality.

I use a GTA car kit Bluetooth, plugs in to the cd input behind the stereo. It works ok, not the best. Just ok.

Shipped from Germany but only took a few days, works brilliantly.

 

I've fitted a Yatour YT-M06 on both my LS600h and my father's RX400h works, and it's used on both with an SD card. Works well, the cars see it as another CD changed with each folder (named as CD01, CD02, ...) seen as discs.

 

I purchased this for my 2004 RX330 and have been impressed with how easily it connects and how good it sounds. They must have improved the transmitter power since I used these a few years ago. The sound is excellent.

 

Was just looking at the GROM-USB3...did the cigarette lighter swap come with the kit or something extra you did? I want a clean install and factory-look like you mentioned vs. a cable hanging out of the dash.

Kit was plug and play? No wire soldering right?
