Cool Streaming music on 2008 RX350.

All, I just bought a 2008 RX350 with the Mark Levinson stereo, bluetooth phone connection, navigation and rear DVD player. I'm trying to figure out a good way to stream music from my phone. The phone already connects via bluetooth for calls, but how can I get it to play audio through the stereo? There are no inputs. Do I need to download music/podcasts on an ipod and hard wire it in? Any big ideas? Have some long trips planned and it's be great to play some podcasts. Thanks for your help.

Default Pandora music too in RX350

Hope you receive some information as I have wondered that myself. I have the same car and would love to run Pandora through it.

The RX did not get both phone and audio BT until the 2010 model year. You may have the
stereo head wiring intended for the dealer installed Satellite tuner, does your radio have an
AM/Sat button? Lexus dealers no longer sell the tuner but there is a wiring harness that fits
the socket on the back with an Apple 30 pin connector. Check www.crutchfield.com for adapters
like that to power and control your device(s).

Any idea on what that wiring harness would be? The local Best Buy said they'd replace the whole radio to the tune of $500. I had a road trip coming up and just bought one of those cheap cassete adaptors and pluged the ipod into that and honestly, it worked great! The wires are a bit of a pain, but still, sounded really good and made the trip much nicer.

Have another question. Since my car is now 11 years old (you'd never know it by looking at it). I'd like to upgrade the navigation. Lexus doesnt sell the disks but I've seen them on ebay for toyota/lexus. worthwhile?
