Hi, Considering purchase of a 2009, almost 12 years old with ~5K miles per year. The dash was not replaced but was eligible per Lexus. Anyone know if it's just a matter of time before the dash starts to crack/melt? Think the it was garaged in the Northeast. If purchased, it will not be garage kept. Thank you!

 

If the car is eligible for a Dash Replacement, then it is best for it to get one if you decide to purchase it.

 

Thank you for your reply. The Lexus offer to replace the dash has expired. Confirmed with Lexus it was never done and the car is no longer eligible for the replacement.

 

Highly suggest you look at 2010's if you are concerned about the dashboard. But really depends on the selling price and your budget. Good luck.
