Anyone notice how the dash material takes marks SO easily? I don't have time to go to the dealership and have them wipe it down. Any ideas?

 

Buy some 303 Aerospace and wipe it down.

 

if youre under warranty take it to the dealer, theres a TSB regarding the melting dash. Though im not quite sure if you are experiencing signs of the melting dash issue.

 

For such a important automotive company Lexus did sure **** up a lot with our interiors. I had my dash replaced as well as two door panels so far

 

does this TSB replace the entire dash? how long is it good till?

I have a bigger issue with marks on the door skins than I do on the dash. Seems like anything that touches them leaves a "scratch" looking mark. Left one just today after taking pics of the car. I reached over to make sure I had shut the passenger door and left a damn scratch on it because I was looking down at my phone when doing so. Grrrrr....

 

i dont know the duration. i had an 06 @ 120K miles. i was out of warranty and had to call corporate. needless to say they covered 90% of the cost. i only paid 200 out of pocket. They replaced the entire front dash.

Thanks everyone! I have a 2013 so hopefully it doesn't happen. It's a lease so I'm not too worried it's their car and their problem if it does LOL

 

I have a 2008 that was out of warranty and they replaced the entire dash, parts and labor, for no cost. I was extremely pleased. Even hooked me up with a free loaner while they did the work.

303 Aerospace, is that stuff like Armor All? I am not the biggest fan of the glossy finish that Armor All leaves.

Yeah I had to replace two panels cause mine melted away, I can't even touch them without messing them up
