Steering wheel shaking
Sorry I’m a bit late on the reply. I had the one tire changed out for the same brand as the other 3 and has them re balanced and now I still get a little shaking so what else should I consider looking at?
I am getting a sizable shaking/vibrating of my steering wheel at higher highway speeds like 65-70. I did just have a new tire put on and am positive it was balanced properly. Should i go back to discount tire where the tire was put on and have then recheck the balance or could it be something possibly suspension related?
Well I made sure all 4 tires I have are the same; which they are; but I still get a occasional "off and on" shaking/vibrating. Could this be something in the front suspension or something else?
short answer is yes, possibly -- you should at least check tie rods and ball joints (your front wheels/tires)
