Steering wheel shaking
I am getting a sizable shaking/vibrating of my steering wheel at higher highway speeds like 65-70. I did just have a new tire put on and am positive it was balanced properly. Should i go back to discount tire where the tire was put on and have then recheck the balance or could it be something possibly suspension related?
Was the shaking and vibration preexisting prior to your tire change?
In your estimate what was causing the vibration, the tires? Hence you replaced your tires?
Looks like we are missing something...(you are)...

I have encountered something called "Radial Pull" before. I bought a new set of tiires, had it installed/balance/alignment and the car was pulling like crazy to the left.
The tire shop swapped the LF to RF and tthe car pulled to the right. It turns out to be a tire defect and they the defective tire for free.

yes it was there before the tire change. Is it possible it’s either one of the 2 wheel bearings or both? Or something in the suspension?
Bad wheel bearings should be cause any vibration, it cause a low humming and/or low howling sound. It had both front bearings replacing in my wifes' 08 RX350.
Does it vibrate when you press the brake at 60-75MPH or does it vibrate without touching the brake. If the steering wheel vibrate after pressing the brake, it could be the front rotors.

I would take it back to the shop and have them swap the tires from front to back, take it to a high speed drive and see what happens.

Well I just went back to discount tire and had them rebalance everything so I’m hoping that fixed the issue. If it didn’t then from what my shop down the street from me that is extremely reputable told me if that doesn’t fix it then then im gonna have to leave it with them for a day so they can go through just about everything and anything underneath like the suspension, axles, wheel bearings and the list goes on and on. I just hope if it does turn out to be something I just hope it’s not gonna cost a arm and a leg
well 3 of the 4 tires are one brand and the other is a generic because discount tire didn’t have the same one as the others in stock and I had to get something then and there. And so I just had them rebalanced again and apparently they were off a little and that seems to have made it a little better but I’m still getting a slight vibrating. Where do I go from here.
well I can’t do that now they already put It on and it’s already been driven on. But anyways the shaking has subsided quite a bit but occasionally there is a slight shaking still so. I’m just gonna let it be as is for now and see what happens in a week or 2 and if it comes back I will post back here
