Valve Cover Gasket and What Else?
Hello Out there and thanks for any help.
I have a RX330 with 150k. I am going to change the valve cover gaskets and the plug seals, But inevitably while doing a job like this I end up wishing I had a few more parts (ex. tubes, hoses, orings or sensors) so that while everything is apart I can do the job smoothly and I don't have to run out and get more parts or worse order them and wait. So my question is What else do I need to do a nice complete job while I am in there? Are there any kind of sensors that are easy to get at now? o2 maybe?
I am expecting:
valve cover gaskets
spark plugs and the tube seals
Some kind of intake manifold gasket?

should be in the 2nd gen forum but welcome. the both ocv sensors can be checked and screens cleaned at this time. It might be worth pulling them out and put back in, because in the event they fail, they can sometimes be stuck in the head and hard to remove when it really does come time for replacement. Check out this nightmare http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums...how-to-remove/
The rear o2 sensor will be easier to get to as well. Unless you have CELs for the related sensors or just want to refresh for the sake of having a fresh baseline, there is really no point to replace the sensors.
