MAF sensor
hey guys just curious if any one has replaced ther MAF sensor with one of these

and if you have did it help in getting better gas milege or did you notice any performance gains? Did it throw any codes?

Normally some would clean the MAF Sensor with a spray of electronic cleaner & it should be fine although if you are getting a code for a defective sensor....

I clean and change MAF sensors quite often as I maintain a fleet of Toyotas and Hondas for family and friends. Typically the gains in MPG and performance are minimal, it's there but not a noticeable amount.
Usually a new MAF sensor will not throw codes if it is the right type and not defective (which I have had). But I recommend using only OEM or the OEM supplier and new if you're going to replace it, I have had issues with used OEM sensors from junk yards and unknown brands.
