Having issues with my cd player.

Started after battery died and gave the car a boost. The player will accept cds and says "Load" on the screen, makes some noises for 15-20 seconds and then spits the CD out. Theres no error msg at all - and the radio works fine.

At my wits end - any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Just gave it a try - no luck.

 

Is it a 6 CD changer, or only plays a single CD at a time?

 

Just a single cd at a time.

 

I would unhook the battery for 5 minutes. depress the brake pedal a couple of times, to discharge any residual electricity.

Or you could punt and buy a used one on fleabay. very easy to swap out the CD player.
