Delay in CD Player

On my 2004 RX330, when I initially try to play a CD, it take like 30-45 seconds for it to start playing.. And I noticed it during the cold weather.. Anyone else seen this issue or have suggestions for me? Thanks!!

Did you use an commercial CD or a CD you burned from a computer? On some players, it takes a long time to read a burned CD. Some player will not play at all. It has to do with the firmware of the players not compatible with the CD format.
