Question Aftermarket Rims vs OEM specs--HELP!!

Hello Forum,
. I have a 2nd gen, 2005 RX330. My SUV has the 17 inch rims currently. They have been curbed and I am looking to get a new set of after market rims. Can someone please tell me if this information is correct, i found it from another thread:
" The RX 17" rims should be a 17X6.5" rim with a +35mm offset, and the 18's are 18X7 with a +35mm offset. "

I Just need to know what size rim will fit on my 330, going for aftermarket 18" Thanks

Look for 18's and as long as the offset is correct at 35mm (it clears your brakes) you can go wider than 8" a bit. 18x7 with 35 mm offset is the OEM.

Thanks mandyfig I appreciate your reply, glad someone did lol. So as long as I get 18" x7" , 35mm offset should be okay? What did you mean wider than 8"? Thanks

Default Wiggle room with this

You have some flexibility. I'm running 18x8.75in on stock tire size and it looks like this. Offset is +19mm.
<a href="http://s306.photobucket.com/user/bgintokyo/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2016-01/CFF7D30E-E725-4E80-8700-3FCEE27E5078.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn260/bgintokyo/Mobile%20Uploads/2016-01/CFF7D30E-E725-4E80-8700-3FCEE27E5078.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo CFF7D30E-E725-4E80-8700-3FCEE27E5078.jpg"/></a>
Have these as well and these were also 18x8.75 only with a +22mm offset. Both setups cleared the breaks list fine and added a barely noticeable wider stance. No steering radius issues or any other issues.

Hope this helps.

I've heard good reviews of this wheel fitment website:

http://www.willtheyfit.com

Since you have all the stock and aftermarket wheel specs maybe it'll help....
