2009 RX350, 30,000 miles,...known issues?
Have a chance at a good deal on a 2009 RX 350 with 30k miles that is an R-Title. I know, I know....but, it will be gone over heavily and driven well before any purchase.
Are there any lingering issues from this model that I should be aware of or ask about to make sure was done before I would pull the trigger? I have a 2000 Lexus ES300 I have had good luck with and done all the work on and I am hoping it would be similar with an RX.
I also have an 06 Acura MDX so SUV's don't scare me in the least as far as working on them.
I am hoping, since this is the last year of that generation, all the bugs would have been worked out of the design.
Any drawbacks to this vintage RDX?
My brother has an 08 Highlander which he likes very much so I would think the "guts" of the RX should be pretty similar.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I would want to see pics of it before it was fixed to know the extent of the damage. When shopping for our '07 I looked at one that I knew had been in an accident and repaired based on the carfax. It did not have a salvage title at any time. The carfax told me the damage was on the passenger side. I could see that there was body filler in the a-pillar. No thank you. Damage to the unibody safety cage was not something I wanted let alone one that was "repaired" with body filler.
Look it over very carefully!

Had a friend run an Autocheck on it and it came back with 2 accidents over its life. The first was the worst when it had 9k on the odo. and less than a year old and that is when it was Salvaged.
It was a "Front Passenger" side hit. Figure it had to be a pretty significant accident to Total a brand new '09. I really don't want to deal with not being able to get it and keep it in alignment and other safety critical items that may have resulted.
He wants 12k for it. If he sits on it and does get back eventually I may tell him I'll give him 9k after an extensive road test and inspection. My FIL has a lift so we can go over it really well.
Thanks again.
