Default Driving Lights

Is there a way to get the tail lights to come on automatically with the driving light? Thanks

I don't know what a 'driving light' is, but the tailights DO come 'automatically' when the parking lights, and low or high beams are turned on.

I don't think there's a way to get the tail lights to turn on with the DRL. You could, of course, turn on just the parking lights.

You could wire them to do that, but there is not a simple way to do it.

I agree just turn on the parking lights (first click on switch) they will turn off automatically when you switch off and open the door. Or you can take it to get them wired up to the DRL, but switching on parkers much cheaper...

Thank You - So do I understand that if I manually turn on the parking lights,
they will turn off automatically when I exit the car and close the door

Correct Kennyw418,
when you switch off the engine and open the door the lights will switch off to whatever preset you have, 0 seconds, 15 sec, or 45 sec I believe these are the three options? Correct me if I'm wrong but it is something like that.

Or just set the lights to "auto"

Im pretty sure the "Auto-Off" feature only works in the headlight and Auto positions. If you put it in the parking light position I believe they won't turn off automatically. But I could be wrong as I never take mine out of the Auto position.

They will turn off in park light mode, and if you were to put in Auto mode the lights will not come on during the day unless it is very dark out.

Ok Kenny, but that is exactly what I do with my 09 RX, leave parkers switched on so I have DRL with front park lights and tail lights, switch's off automatically when i open door...
