Vent cup holder for passenger?

Vent cup holder for passenger?
So my better half was asking, why don't they have a vent cup holder for the passenger? I thought, hmm good question. I am wondering with RX's in countries where the wheel is on the wrong side 
if the driver side vent is the same as the North American in that it has a cup holder recessed beneath it? (as in photo) If so would that right side vent retrofit into left hand driving RX? Would be a neat little mod if it worked.

The cup holder slides out and then down into position. Don't see how you could open the glove box lid when the holder is out. Small point I know but I reckon that's why we only get the one on the drivers side. Obvious solution - don't open the glove box, I know, but it would annoy me that I couldn't.

There is a vendor that sells those and all sorts of other JDM parts...but he over charges for everything he sells.....I can find most items he sells for almost half the cost.
Best bet is to look on ebay.co.uk for one from a wrecked/parts vehicle.
