I agree that it will be interesting, but it seems to me to be a lot of work to create a marginal place to park a pop.
I recently spent some time (not much) and some money (not much) and replaced the original lights inside the car (not the brake or backup or parking lights) with those nice little, cool white LED replacements, and think that to be an excellent use of my resources. The extra light, especially from the lights on the bottom of the front doors and in the rear compartment, is extremely helpful. Highly recommended.
I will follow this cupholder project with interest.
If you look at both cupholders. They are the same size. With the same curves and dimensions. But they are 180 degrees out. The difference is the sliding cup holder on the bottom of the drivers side
It wont take 20 minutes to find out if this just slides right in.
Also another question. We have the part number for a left hand drive cup holder / vent.
Does any one have access to find out what the part number is for a right hand drive?
