Hi all! Just traded in a 94 LS400 and an 08 WRX for a sweet deal on an 08 RX350. The one I got is in immaculate shape inside and out and came with tons of factory options that the dealer didn't even tell me about, like AWD and the adaptive HID headlights... I love the factory audio, even though its not the Mark Levinson stereo as far as I can tell. I do love the car as is, but I have never kept a single car stock. So, what sort of mods are people into with these cars? I'm into audio, engine and suspension mods but I actually bought a warranty for this thing, so I may just stick to things that wont void it, but any suggestions are appreciated.

I had thought about the air suspension, but wasn't sure how difficult or expensive it is to have installed.

 

"What sort of mods are you into?" is the more important question. We haven't done anything with our RX and don't intend to. Get to know the vehicle and then mod whatever you want to mod. Polling others isn't the way to determine what you want to do.

I also did nothing to my RX, but I've seen for instance the double din faceplate made to replace the stock audio display and controls, and I'm now tempted.
Looking at other experiences is a good way to understand what could be worth doing, imho.

 

Take off the roof rack, LED lights inside and out, Nav and bluetooth bypass are good starters. Watching video on Nav screen (if you have the rear dvd) while in motion is a good one too.

 

Now thats what I'm looking for! Like I said, I'm just curious to see what others have done in order to get an idea of what I may want to do. If i see some awesome interior lighting I might consider it. I love car audio and would love to see some great clean upgrades. So ill be looking at that thread!
