Vais products
Hi, Guys!
This is my first post. I have searched and read extensively on the Forums about Vais and the products they offer for a 2008 rx350. Many of the responses are very technical and I was hoping someone could give me a layman's answer. I have also called Vais and still couldn't figure out which product I needed.
Here's the deal: In my daughter's new car she has USB/AUX/IPOD connections. I cannot find any combination of Vais that has all three of these. I was looking at the VML, but it doesn't have the aux imput. I have a blackberry but may get an iphone in the future. If I get the VML, what would I need the aux imput for exactly?
Also, I called Sewell Lexus and asked how much it would be to install a VML. The quote was $725, including the unit. Based on how easy everyone (you techies
) seem to say this is to install, that seems excessive even for a dealership.

Good idea! I'll give them a call tomorrow. I assume they have experience with Lexus installs. That was the reason I called Sewell. I want someone who knows what they are doing (since obviously I don't)! Thanks again, Carver.

Wow, I'm sold - just based on the number of lives that CarToys have saved already in the Dallas area with your backup camera! Seriously, my only concern was having a good install on the Lexus. Those fears have been put at rest. I'll be calling CarToys. Thanks so much for your help!
