First Car Decisions! Acura TL or RX330?

Go for car that puts smile on your face. You are young, so enjoy your ride without specific concerns. If it is RX – be it. It is more practical, but has stigma of old man/lady’ car. If it is TL, take it and enjoy it. You will drive ’practical’ vehicles later in your life, until just about middle-life crisis.
In terms of reliability: both are very reliable and quality cars with no issues with either one. TL of 2006 does not have transmission problems. They all were fixed in 2003-04.

I see mostly older women driving RXs here in suburban St. Louis. Not exclusively, but the vast majority.
I don't care if people think I'm weird for wanting a RX as a under-40 guy. I had and IS-F before this and 99.5% of people had no idea what it was and didn't even care.
So just buy what you enjoy and don't worry about what people think.

Funny. My wife drives an RX350 and I drive an Acura TL. I enjoy the RX for it's very comfy "I'm sitting on a nice lounge chair" feel to driving. It's disconnected from the road in a good way. But I DEFINITELY enjoy driving the Acura TL a lot more. Helps that it's also a 6spd manual. The creature comforts and overall utility are better in the RX though.
