In the Market for an RX330 '04-06
Just joined the forum as I am looking for an Rx330 '04-06. I have an 04 Highlander Limited FWD now and looking to upgrade to an AWD RX330.
So far I learned that keeping it simple is the most cost effective so I will be avoiding the Navigation Systems, Air Suspension, and 18's (though they look great).
Anything to look out for on these and is it worth spending a bit more for a 2006 vs 2005 vs 2004 other than age.
I am in Norther California so if anyone has leads on an AWD one under 75K I am looking.
Thanks for the info in advance.

Welcome to CL. Within those three years miles and condition should be the determining factors. I think you'll find most will have the 18s, they were a part of the Premium package which most of the cars sold in America have.
I recently bought one and used the usual suspects to find it, Autotrader.com, ebay, and Craigs list. Also local dealers but they are usually higher than the others.
Why do you want the AWD living in CA?

just incase it snows in CA..... ( i live in New Jersery which this last winter we got hit with close to 30" the first snow fall... the type of awd system that the rx has is nice but not as nice as my LX...) if you dont need the awd trust me dont look for one.. because the gas miles gets cut down to like 14-16mpg...
they are great cars/trucks tho believe me I work for Acura (salesperson) and I have 3 Lexus's LOL..... go figure....

Thanks for the responses. I have owned several 4wd/AWD Jeeps so I am not expecting that capability but after having a FWD Highlander that leaves lots to be desired in rainy conditions in San Francisco (lots of steep hills) and Tahoe trips (100"s in 4 days just recently) and putting chains on and off in blizzards is miserable.
Is the gas mileage that much worse with the AWD vs FWD. I thought it was 1mpg or so. I bought the FWD Highlander for the gas mileage but regretted that decision from the 1st day.
