Default 40,000 mile Service

When I bought my 09 it had about 31,000 miles on it and it was certified. My next scheduled service is at 40,950 miles. I got an email from my dealer to inform me that I needed to have the 40,000 mile service done. Wasn't all of that done within the certified program? I think I had a sheet when I bought the car that had all of the service items that were done on the certified program and I think it was everything you could do.

They would have done the 30K mile service and all it entails. Afterwards, you would have had your regularly scheduled 5K service intervals at 35K and 40K.

I believe at 40K it is nothing more than an oil and filter change along with changing the cabin air filter and perhaps the engine air filter depending on your conditions. The cabin air filter is easy to change yourself and you can find suitable replacements at your local auto parts store or on Amazon or even with the CL Vendors such as Sewell.

Check your Owner's Manual for the service schedule.

I guess your right, they only would have done the 30,000 mile service. I changed the cabin air filter a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for the info.

Check your manual. Pretty clear on what needs to be done. Basically just oli changes, filter changes, check fluid levels, fill up as needed.

For 2007 RX350, how often do I need to have Transmission fluid, brake fluid and engine coolant replace?

The 2007 RX350 uses World Standard Transmission Fluid. It doesn't need replacing for at least 100,000 miles. The Brake Fluid is changed 30k, 60k, 90k, etc. The Coolant is changed at 120 months or 100,000 miles whichever comes first.
