Default our infrastructure

is horrible!! i just had 4 new michelins (the ones that came on the car) put on 2,000 miles ago, along with 4 wheel alignment. and since then i have hit three whopper`s (pot holes etc) two of which were on the right side. if my alignment is still within spec.i`ll be very impressed. when are these politicians going to get off their *** and start fixing our highway`s/byways? and stop worrying about a stupid pepsi commercial ?

Someone needs to invent a road surface that does not succumb to the elements. Some type of synthetic-based rubber that can be made cheaply. We have been using tar and chip and pavement/concrete for decades now, surely there is something better through technology that can be used.

Nothing new here, PA has some of the worst roads in the country.

that would work! and i`m sooo tired of hearing it costs too much,it costs too much! how did we do it 50 years ago? of course the deficit wasnt anything then either. but today, they would still have excuses.

Ain't no better here. The dealer sent me a coupon for $59.95 alignment. It might help once the stupid craters are filled but definitely not now

Oh, I could go on for hours on this topic...

Suffice to say that it is going to get much worse before it gets any better.

You think it's bad driving the Lexus, you need to try to drive the streets in my Corvette Z06. The wife will not even ride in the Z06 any more.

i live in East Africa....we have some ridiculously sizes craters here...! my daily commute to work involves driving on mud roads and potholed riddled roads, and worst of all, very very bump high ways. car deals with it all without a problem....
though i still wince every time i miss a pothole and hit it hard.

i did.....it works a treat. thank you for the pictorial instructions...
i also fixed a rattle coming from the plastic cover under the glove box by the foot well area...
strange though, the crackling, popping sound is back on the left hand side of my dash. i did put the foam strips between the windscreen and dash, and it worked all this time.
maybe a replacement for the foam strips is in order, or i will find a higher density foam strip
