Default finally pulled the trigger

We got an 07 rx350 nav trim. Breakwater Blue. It was a lease car for 2 years and the past 13 months someone drove it a lot. 64k miles, but I got it CPO at our local lexus dealership. So far so good. I didn't realize the Navigation system was disabled while driving with no work around. Is that correct? Other than that, can't complain about much.
I really want to get a DVD system for the 2 kids. I prefer the head rest ones, but I don't want to deal with 2 different movies, however the headliner ones seem like they'd be too big especially with the sunroof? Best Buy has a lot of choices online and installation is only 199. Any thoughts on that?
Also interested in integrating XM. Any thoughts on that?
thanks!

Congratulations! Run a search for "nav hacks", there seem to be plenty of options.
post what you decide on a DVD system (with pics preferably ).

Default Rear Seat TV

Last Christmas my Daughter wanted Sirius for her present. So what I did was buy two 9 inch headrest monitors with wireless headphones. And installed a Sirius Back Seat TV system in her Corolla.

www.sirius.com/backseattv

3 channels of kids TV. Nickelodeon, Disney and Cartoon Network.

The music ties in through the car antenna.

The system was 250. The monitors were 90 each. And I paid 150 to have it all put together. Service is 25 dollars a month.

The best present my Daughter ever received. You would never know the kids were back there.
