Why is this unplugged??

Well, I wasn't going to add my two cents "clean your engine" thing but enough of you said it. And here I thought I was one of the few **** enough to clean my engine. 
Just last week, after waxing the RX I cleaned the engine compartment and Armor All'ed the black plastic. Now, I will reveal this with some fear of getting the grilling but do any of you scrub the wheel well plastic liners? Not saying I do but ... 
Back to the original topic, you never know why a mechanic misses something. Plug it in and see if the car runs better.
