Studder Problem
Buddy has a AT IS300 with a studder problem. Under 3K rpms it hops jumps and studders and also does this while stopped or in park. Trying to figure out wat the problem is. Car also has a check engine light.
Any ideas?

P0300-Random multiple cylinder misfire
P0302-Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected
P0306-Cylinder 6 misfire detected
P0141-O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction(Bank 1 Sensor 2)
Bought a Universal Bosch 02 sensor gonna throw that on any other ideas. The 02 sensor doesnt look that bad though at least I don't think it does it's pretty grey.

if you are getting misfires. you may want to check the plugs, wires, coils.
when i get an o2 code i notice the car feels sluggish but not misfiring.

I beleive it was a spark plugs.. The spark plugs are getting worn out.. If not, then inspect the spark plug wires...

changed the 02 sensor flashed the ecu, and the trac light is now not blinking. The car is still sputtering but not as bad.

LOL as a matter of fact we just changed them. The back 2 (presumably cylinders 2 and 6 which were the ones that were misfiring) the threads were wet.
Pic for refrence

I had the same problem. I changed the spark plugs to OE from Toyota and used Lucas injector cleaner. I drove around for an hour (hard), came home, unplugged my battery and ecu fuse to reset the ecu. All is well now.
