2008 rx350 transfer case oil and rear differential fluid
I have a 2008 RX350 with about 32,000 miles on it. I am looking to change the transfer case oil and rear differential fluid. Has anyone done this or know how to do it? Pictures of the transfer case drain and fill bolt; plus pictures of the drain and fill rear differential fluid would be great help. Steps by steps or hints would be great. Thanks guys.

If you use synthetic oil will keep your servicing period longer.
As for the front, it is tight you may have to get the short socket and breaker bar to move the plugs. If you are handy should be no problem. Also do a search for differential change on this form, someone has put up pictures and will help a lot.
Good luck.

Pickup this thread for not starting a new.
I am about to change the trans fluid, transfer case fluid and rear differential fluid at about 65K miles on my 2008 RX. Here is a summary of what I know so far with some questions.
1. Transmission Fluid
With drain and fill, I will need 4qt of Toyota ATF WS. I will also need a drain plug gasket. I heard that there is trans fluid filter that might need to be cleaned. If thst is the case, I will need to drop the pan. Can anyone tell me how much more fluid needed if I drop the pan?
2. Transfer case fluid
Need 1qt 80W90 or 75W90 gear oil. I can't find any information regarding the gasket or washer for the drain plug. Is it needed?
3. Rear differential fluid
Same oil as that for transfer case. Same question goes to the gasket or washer for the grain plug. Is it necessary?
Thank you all in advance.

Thank you all for the great info!
I dropped my gx off at lexus yesterday for the Secondary Air Pump failure and was chatting with the service advisor asking her what's due for the 130/135k service. She said it's spark plugs, transfer case and differential oil change... want to know how much they charge? It was just shy of $2,000!! Replacing spark plug was in the high $600s and the fluid change was a little under $1,300. I told her no thanks but I'd do it myself. I've been putting off my oil change for too long and I'm having them due the oil and oil filter change for around $120.
