Default 2004 rx 330

How's it going everyone, hope all is well. I'm currently looking for a car and found a 2004 RX 330 with 75k miles on Craigslist. From the pictures the car looks great. I did a Carfax report on it and noticed that it's had 4 accidents and 2 of those accidents were from this year! No major damager etc... Also has a clean title and only one owner. They're asking $7,100. Should I stay away from it? Has anyone over here purchased a vehicle with accidents before? Let me know, would love some advice. Thanks!

Accidents or no accidents, that’s a really high price! I recently purchased my 2008 for $5900 with no accidents. My opinion would be to keep looking.

The price is fair in my region. Whether or not you should buy a car that is involved in an accident is your preference. I do not mind it as long as there is no frame or water damage alongside good maintenance.

My 2005 RX330 is a rebuilt car. Was in a passenger fender bender (no frame damage) and it was totaled. A repair shop bought it, repaired it, and it passed inspection, so I have a rebuilt title.

Car has been incredible and drives like it should (I have other clean RX's in the family to compare). I did have to put money into it, but not due to the accident or repair work but rather normal maintenance/Toyota weak points. I have already done the timing belt, steering rack, and rear hubs.

^This is not the norm. It must must have many more miles, a lot less options, or is an outlier. Also, likely FWD versus AWD based on location.

Price isn't horrible, will come down to condition and service history.

LOL i got one last week for $4800 and it’s an 07 RX350 with 235k miles. drives like it’s new off the lot. no issues by the way, except for some lost cosmetic parts. but i do have to complain about the somewhat worn brakes and the replaced struts.
