Default Trailer Hitch

New to CL, have been on the my.is site because I have 07 IS250 X with f-sport upgrades and my wife drives the RX. We had an 08 RX350 and I used it to tow my boat, but when we traded in for the 2010 RX the trailer hitch won't work, new application... Dealer wants +$1,000 for the new hitch and still leaves me with the one from my 08 RX that I will have to sell. Does anyone know or have the trailer hitch for the 2010 RX, or Anyone looking for a trailer hitch for a 2008 RX? Has the wiring harness and only 9 monthes old, great shape.

yeah! instead of bolting up underneath to the frame, they have to take the rear bumper cover off and it fits up under the plastics

I'm interested in the hitch. Is it the OEM Lexus hitch? Any pics? What part of FL are you in, and how much are you looking to get for it?

Thanks
Dan

OEM hitch is $440 from Lexus of Brookfield. Part number is PT228-48210 if you want to try and find it elsewhere. According to the notes, the hitch is ONLY compatible with AWD models.

I'm in Ft. Lauderdale. p/u would be best, can ship but you would have to pay the shipping cost. It is OEM lexus part rated at 3500 lbs, I bought it at pembroke pines lexus dealer 1yr 3 monthes ago (have reciept, paid $500) Came off a FWD model with tow pkg set up.
