Default Bluetooth reception problem

I have a 2005 RX330 with NAV. I have no problem receiving and the reception come in clear on incomming. But the person on the receiving end just getting this break up. They only hear maybe every other words just like the phone is breaking up with bad reception. Like I said receiving end in the car is clear but the other end is break up. Is there any way to fix that?

There is a menu in the 2007 nav to boost the outgoing volume for the bluetooth. It's possible that it is also in the 2005.

BTW, I set mine to 3 and it sounds much better on the receiving end..

My 07 had a bad microphone and was replaced by the dealer. It caused something that sounded like electrical interference for the person on the other end. There was a service bulletin on it.

the receiving could hear loud and clear but it is choppy. It is like you are loosing signal and could only hear every other words in the conversation so adjusting the volume will not do it.

I discovered the choppiness occurs when both parties are talking at the same time.

I am experiencing this issue in my 2008 RX400H as well. Dealer said TSB did not apply to the 2008 model. They tried adjusting the mic sensitivity from the service menu, but would not replace it. Anyway, problem has not gone away.

With an o8, is it still under warranty, so they have to figure it out and fix it for you.

it is under warranty and they keep telling me to adjust the levels... I'll take it up with corporate soon if the dealership doesn't do something about it.
