RX Transmission Fluid Leak
Digging up an old thread.
Our 06 400h is scheduled for this transmission replacement in a couple of weeks. The TSB states 8.75 hours for the work iirc. According to my Lexus service shop it's the freeze plug that have corroded due to bad material choices which is why they need to replace the whole transmission.
Gosh what a chaos it created as the insurance company begun debating why, for how long, service times, Lexus and previous owner etc only because the short time we owned it before discovering this.
Lexus dont have the same warranties here that you guys do over there.
