It's not that hard. But it will take some work. You have to make sure you have right bulbs before you install them. Otherwise, your gonna have some problems!
The glove box uses type 74 bulbs and the dome lights are DE3175. Also make sure the voltage are the same.

To open the cover is not that hard, all you have to do is pry open the casing with a flat screw driver. And it's self explanatory from there.

Hope that helps,
LEXveryG8

P.S. Be sure to post some picture of installation! Have fun!

How about the licence plate? I don't see anything I can stick in to open the cover, I will give it a try this weekend!

The license plate uses type 168 bulbs too. So don't sweat it. As for removing the components on that I have not tried it yet so I'm not quite sure. I don't think it should be that hard.

Good luck,

I was under the impression all 2007+ Lexus had LED licence plate lights.

Guess not. Looks great! I think the LEDs match the Olympic plates well. Mine are el cheapo ones off ebay (I know I know) so they kinda accentuate the blue in the plate. I'll probably get Lexus ones (hopefully they're not too expensive) if mine blows out early.

Can we actually get one from the dealer? I found them in the Parker Place in Richmond, the shop is called "Cartronix", they have the high power LEDs, the other one doesn't. Each side has a single high power LEDs, I did saw the other type that has a base with 9 LEDs, but I didn't buy those one and don't know how it looks like.

I am going to do the dome light next. The space will be big enough to put in a 12 LEDs plate, then we can party under the roof!!

Well the ES, IS etc etc have LED licence plate lights right? So I figured the dealers must have some in stock (or at least can order them).

Ohh? Are they angled or what? cause I just got mine off ebay. Didn't realise those in Rmd would actually be useful lol.

As long as you buy the right bulb, it will work.

I would love to see some dome light work. I have been wondering what it might turn out to be.
