I chatted briefly with a fellow today, that claims his 2005 RX330 has a heated steering wheel. He also claims that the dash is different than the standard one--too dark to see it tonight. Apparently, his vehicle was produced in Cambridge,ON. I would love to have this feature on mine- especially on the mornings like today when it was -20 C with the wind chill.
He bought it used imported to Canada from the USA. Anyone?
Are you sure the guy you talked to did not have a bottle of Whiskey on his hand? Just kidding...
I don't think the heated steering wheel was ever offered on RX. If it does have one, it's most likely an aftermarket. Last time I checked mine, it does not have one.

"The climate controls also have been enhanced on the new LS. Once you set the desired cabin temperature, the system will not only monitor air temperature, it will also monitor the body temperature of the occupants and adjust the outlet temperature to compensate. There is even an optional heated steering wheel."

I read somewhere that that 1999 and up Grand Cherokee some Limited and Overland models also had infrared sensors for the ambient cabin temperature. Where it would monitor the bodies temp instead of the cabin temp or something. Honest to god..
