Default Heated Steering Wheel

I just turned on my heated steering wheel yesterday and realized it heats the side grips and toward the bottom of the steering wheel but not the top of it. Is this normal?

In my wife's Murano that also has a heated steering wheel, essentially the sides and top part of the wheel gets heated.

Yes, this is the normal behavior for several Lexus and Toyota models, including the IS.

Yes normal. Terrible design, a half-baked heated steering wheel. My Nissan Maxima before the Lexus also had heat all around the wheel vs. just the sides.

You just need a better education.

Proper driving technique is 9/3...period. Nothing else. Keep both hands on the wheels, and in the proper place and you won't have to worry about it.

Lexus 1, you guys 0.

Maybe you should have purchased a BMW?

lol that’s great until you have to make tight turns in a parking lot

maybw you should have purchased a Tesla with a yoke steering wheel since the top and bottom is apparentky poison
