We've used a product called "Plexus" which is also used by the DOD on aircraft canopies and helicopter lexan glass. Started to use this on our RX 300 which had yellowing headlight lenses, and with a few applications cleaned them right up. Have been using this about once every two or three months on our 05 RX and have been able to keep the headlights like new.

Plexus comes in a spray can and is super easy to use. I have no affiliation with the manufacturer, just passing along our experience.

Sorry for the delay in responding - had a death in the family and have been tied up. We got our Plexus on line, still using from the original can. It doesn't take much to keep the lenses clen, brite and scratch free.

The local marine supply I found it at is Boaters World. I seem to remember it was about $20. It is part of my normal car wash routine.

A little bit goes a long ways! I also use it on my eyeglasses and sunglasses - keeps the plastic lenses clean and scratch free!

I'd also recommend Meguiar's PlastX. Works great to remove oxidation and small scratches on the headlights, as well as fogs and other lights. This also works great on the clear plastic over the gauges (since most of us probably dust with dry towels and wind up putting small scratches in it over time). I've been using it for awhile and very happy with the results.

i used to wet sand and then polish my headlights but a buddy of mine hooked me up with a set of headlight overlays and the film is thick enough to protect the headlight but not enough to modify the beam pattern.

going forward- i think i'll be getting the clear bra / headlight overlays on my cars now since it makes such a huge difference.

good luck!
