DICE or VAIS mounting options?
(Same post as before but I modified the thread title since what I'm asking applies to both and hopefully will get more responses..I tried modifying my original post, but the thread title didn't get updated)
I never did order the DICE, but am now looking into it again.
What kind of mounting options are there?
My parents have an older IceLink with the iPod mounted in the glove compartment. That's a pain. I like the direct control using the iPod wheel.
In our RX300 I mounted the iPod in the center console.
The RX330/350/400 (we have a 400) has the sliding center console.. Since it slides, I don't think it's an option. or is it? Can I extend the cable and would it work ok with the flexing of the console sliding back and forth?
I saw a mount where the cable comes out under the shifter and the iPod is on the floor.
Where do people have theirs mounted?
