ipod dock construction
has anyone created or constructed an ipod docking station somewhere within their 2is? perhaps you've modified an apple ipod dock or you've built a docking station someone in the center console or in the glove box?
it's getting to be about that time to mount your video/photo ipod where you can see it and maybe click/scroll the ipod wheel while driving/sitting in the passenger seat.
would like to see photos if you have them, thanks.

Sup Guys,
As you guys know, i am the first one on CL to successfully install NavTV Module and I am now ready to integrate my Ipod Video.
I currently have a DVD Changer installed.
Anyway, I was looking for a part that will be able to charge, audio/video OUT, and have a wireless RF remote, so everything can be concealed in the glove. With the remote, I will be able to change tracks.
Currently, I have found that inorder to achieve those features, I will have to combine two parts. Those parts are:
1. A wire that charges and provides Audio/Video OUT. ($15.00-$20.00)
2. Scoche Ipod Video RF Remote ($50-70)
Now question is... will this remote allow pass-through for Audio/Video signals via Docking part.
If it does, then I am set.
What do you guys think? I have already emailed Scoshe.

The New 5th Generation iPod RF remote control utilizes the dock connector and features a pass through for charging, Bluetooth integration, FM transmitters or headphones. The remote controls basic functions play/pause, rwd/ffw, volume, track, plus random song feature and can access your playlists.
