In the past few weeks, all of the indicator (you have a problem) lights become lit at once even though there isn't a problem. The only way to get the lights to turn off is by restarting the engine.
I have an 06 RX330 with 20K miles and will be traveling down the freeway and all of a sudden all the indicator lights come on. Is this a common problem? It has been happening with more frequency and will need to go to the dealer but would like to know if this has happened to anyone else.
Just want to make sure that nothing is lost in translation ... across the pond, indicator is used for turn signal.
From your post it seems ALL warning lights in the dash light up for you [normally they all light up when you turn the key to "ON" ..before start ... test condition for all warning lamps [alas very few drivers take the time to check them].
If this is the case, then you are encountering an elctrical problem which is NOT a common thing. I would start at the battery and disconnect it for about 30 minutes. Then check how good the terminals are .. clean and tight. For furhter debugging you will have to go to the dealer.
In a Lex, this usually relates to a poor battery connection, or a battery that's getting ready to 'give up the ghost'. Suggest that you have dealer check this ASAP.
and Mine is MY2005 not an 04 model, it looks like no one who has 05 model had this problem before.
All the lights(ABS, VSC, Brake, TPS lights) come on while i drive my vehicle on the highway, prolly after i drive about 10 miles, and it wouldnt turn itself off until i restart the vehicle.
BTW its got 32.5k miles on it. I called Santa Monica Lexus in Cali they told me it needs to have the maintenance done on it.
Is it waste of money? or is it worth it? to do the service? even though I know this problem is not at all related to my issue.
